There's a phenomenon called "the overview effect." It's something astronauts experience when they see the Earth from space – seeing the earth from that high up detaches one from the little nuances and pedantic problems of daily life on earth. Borders disappear, cities blur, and the planet looks small and fragile. Many astronauts say that after seeing the earth from space that they feel a deeper sense of connection to humanity and a stronger responsibility to care for the world. So in a way, it softens a person's core and heart. Speaking of soft, who wants to hear about the fluffiest, floofiest animals out there??

There's an imbalance in the universe. Nothing is supposed to be that cute! Not even a floofy, furry animal! These little guys are just too cute, seriously, it isn't fair. There should be a law against nature to not be this cute. These heart-stealing creatures have us at a chock hold. Their cuteness overpowers everything, and we can easily lose track of time simply scrolling photos of fluff. Meme versions are even funnier.

Floof operates on a different level of power. It's the extra fluff around the ears, the cloudlike bellies, the tails that look like feather dusters possessed by joy. When an animal is floofy, every movement becomes exaggerated in the best way. A simple sit turns into a majestic plop. A walk becomes a gentle waddle. Even standing still somehow feels theatrical. Floof refuses subtlety.
